Rapper Jay-Z says is ready to make fans’ dreams come true by going on a long-awaited tour with wife Beyonce. Hurrah.
Since their wedding in 2008 the couple have appeared on each other’s albums and performed briefly together but they have never committed to a tour.
Jay, who closed the Yahoo! Wireless Festival in London last night with Justin Timberlake, told Radio 1’s Zane Lowe: “It’s always floating out there, it’s floating out there.
It has to be the real thing and it’s slowly making sense, more sense every day, every day it’s making more sense – as far as a tour, not an album.”
We get the point that it makes sense, Jay.

In the interview, to be broadcast during Zane’s show, Jay, 43, also opens up about his tiff with chum Kanye West that lasted FOUR days.
The mates fell out when deciding which tracks would go on the recent Watch The Throne joint album. It even came to blows between the rappers’ two camps.
He confesses: “We had this whole plan when me and Kanye did Watch The Throne, that we would go right into our solos after that.
“As soon as I thought we had wrapped up Watch The Throne I made two records, Holy Grail and Oceans. I played those records for Kanye and he was like, ‘No those have to go on Watch The Throne, so we spent four days arguing about those records.
“I was explaining to him why it wasn’t right for this project and I had a whole idea for making this album called Magna Carta. Holy Grail the name came after.”
An exasperated Jay reiterates: “Four days! Four days literally arguing four days. Not like fighting.
“Well, there was some pushing at one point but not between us, just everyone else got a little excited.” Cripes.
But it’s not all dramz, Jay also opens up about his 19-month-old daughter Blue Ivy (see below).
He gushed that she was: “Very thoughtful and very inside of her own mind, pretty much like her pop, she will answer in her own time. The birth of my child gave me this new energy and focus.”
